To build a stable, profitable network marketing business, you must

  1. Offer prospects a tested, proven lead generation & training system
  2. Develop your own ability to coach your recruits to success in your system

The most important element of being able to coach your recruits to success is … you. You must understand your WHY and focus on it daily. You’ve got to know exactly what motivates you, or you’ll never be able to help your prospects figure out what motivates them. And if they can’t state their WHY, then they’ll drift away sooner or later. They can’t maintain their commitment if they can’t see exactly why they’re doing the daily work.

Re-read the first chapter of Success In 10 Steps if you’re at all hazy about your WHY. You’ll get at least 20 questions in that chapter to help you pinpoint your motivations.

Plus … it’ll be a big help to you in coaching others on how to state their WHY and then work toward achieving their goals. That is all a great coach does.

What makes you want to be an MLM success coach? What values do you have that indicate you’ll be able to guide others to success? You are certain to have plenty of frustrations. How will you handle them?

Maybe more to the point: your students will also have plenty of frustrations. How will you handle THAT?

Who is your own MLM success coach? Think about that person. What skills do they have that you really value, that really have helped you? What do they do that you can emulate?

What key elements will you focus on when you coach others? Your time with any single person is very limited, so it’s critical that you zero in on the most important lessons. What are they?

Do you belong to some kind of “coaching mastermind group,” where you can share your experiences & questions with other coaches? If not, you should. You will learn and gain more skills much faster when you can learn from the experience of many others who have already figured out solutions for situations you are likely to run into in your own career.

Are you intent on learning more about coaching every day? There are a ton of biographies written by people who have mentored others in every field imaginable. I bet you’d be amazed how much you’d learn about MLM success coaching just by reading a book written by some successful veteran basketball coach.

The fields are worlds apart … but the job is the same.

Did you know that everything you do influences everything else you do?

We are definitely creatures of habit. Example: if your habit is to turn on the TV every night when you get home from work, then what does THAT influence? Just to start, you might safely say:

  • the communication between you and others in your family
  • your mental activity and alertness
  • your outlook on life
  • the time you have available for personal growth
  • your ability to advance in your chosen career

Again, everything you do influences everything else you do. So you have the choice of lots of actions that can have long-term effects, either positive or negative.

Any habit can help you get farther ahead every day … or it can push you farther down. That’s why it’s so important to make choices that help you achieve your dreams.

It’s the old “slight edge” theory. Because the clock of your life is always running, the slight edge is always working 100% of the time. If you don’t strategize to make it work in your favor, then it will definitly work against you. The old saying goes, “Nero fiddled while Rome burned.” Definitely a guy who didn’t understand the slight edge.

Aren’t you glad you’re not Nero?

Some people get very good at creating that perfect, detailed picture of exactly what they want … and yet, they never achieve it.

Why?

Obviously, there’s a monkey wrench in the works somewhere. Someplace inside, there is a conflict that won’t let them achieve their perfectly planned & defined dream.

It’s OK. It’s all part of the process you have to go through to get what you want. In this case, you’ve got to find the limiting beliefs or ideas that are gumming up the works and keeping you from reaching the success you deserve.

So long as you are aware that there is a problem someplace in your thinking process, it will soon become apparent to you. You’ll be working, working, working … and then BLAM! Something flashes through your head and tells you to slow down or stop.

What is it. What exactly is that conflict? What exactly does it say to you?

So if you’ve created that perfect moving picture of the dream you want to achieve, and you still are having problems, you’ve got to know there is a conflict inside you, and you must be alert and spot it when it comes out from hiding.

Be ready for it. Get a good, good look at it. Watch how it sabotages you, keeps you from achieving your dreams.

Once you have seen this bit of doubt or fear or confusion totally, it loses its power over you. If it ever tries to get a foothold again, you’ll recognize it immediately … and you’ll be able to continue pursuing your dream as if there was no resistance whatsoever.

Try it … it works just like that!

Your friends forever,
