More MLM Planning - YOUR Funeral!

By Michael Dlouhy

OK. Where’s he going THIS time, you’re wondering.

I admit, this strategy is a mental & emotional challenge for some people. But it sure helps you focus on what is really important in your life.

When you look back on your life … and your MLM business … will you see a timid person, someone who just couldn’t bring themself to take a bold action? When you’re on your deathbed, will you wish you’d had different priorities?

What IS your real situation right now? Do you spend a lot of time fretting over those details that you won’t even remember a year from now? Do you spend more time thinking about those details than you spend bonding with the people you love … or working to achieve your life’s dreams? Imagine you’re there at your own funeral, looking back. What would you change?

So here’s the good part. You are NOT at your funeral. There is still time to make those changes, both in your MLM business and in your personal life. Focus more on the person you want to be and less on the eggs that got smashed by the careless bagboy at the supermarket. Focus on what those things are that you would look back on fondly and say, “Wow! I was REALLY something. That was a GREAT life!”

And I bet that means you’ll have a lot more fun in all the time BEFORE your funeral, too!

MLM Leads - Write a Letter from Your Heart

By Michael Dlouhy

This little exercise can change lives.

Especially YOURS, although that’s not the primary focus.

Each week, write a letter straight from your heart … to someone. Doesn’t matter who. Just sit down with pen and paper - or at the keyboard - and start writing your note to tell this person how much they mean to you. The act of writing this letter will focus your day on the gratitude you feel for ALL your blessings. And that focus is worth a lot.

List all the people you’d like to thank. Then write a letter a week - more often is OK, too - letting them know the difference they have made in your life. If you run out of people in your life who you want to thank, write the letters to people you’ve never met, but who have affected your life. An author, for instance. One of the big purposes of this letter is to focus your thoughts on gratitude, so it doesn’t really matter whether you’re sending it to a person you know or not.

The intent is simple: to openly state the love & gratitude you feel. It may be tough to put it into words. But the more letters you write, the easier it will get. If it seems an impossible task, then just start with a note of 2 or 3 short sentences. Tell the person what you are grateful for. Tell them how appreciative you are, and the affect they have had on your life. You can write a lot or a little, but this message will make a difference to them - and to you.

One result of writing these letters is, your thoughts get focused on what is good in your life. And, of course, the person you are thanking will be touched … and may turn into one of your best MLM leads. Those are GREAT outcomes. That’s why I suggest you write your first letter today.

MLM Personal Growth - How To Get Rid of Stress

By Michael Dlouhy

I talk to people from time to time who are looking for tips on how to raise their stress tolerance. They think that the key to their life dreams and their MLM personal growth is to be able to handle greater and greater levels of stress.

Actually, the exact opposite is true. But I’ll get to that in a moment.

As YOU know by now, we get what we expect in life. We get what we “put out there.” And if you put out there that what you want is MORE stress, guess what? Yes, absolutely. More pressure and confusion and responsibility and frustration are heading your way. Maybe you’ll really luck out and get a full-blown family-threatening or career-threatening or dream-threatening or life-threatening crisis!

Isn’t it obvious that this is a step in the wrong direction?

But it’s understandable. I read about “stress workshops” where the stated aim is to raise your stress tolerance. So even the “experts” are lost.

In my experience, for maximum happiness & success, you want to minimize the stress in your life. Notice as soon as you start to feel the slightest stress. Nip it in the bud BEFORE it gets to be the size of Jack’s beanstalk.

Are your thoughts moving too quickly? Back off. Get your bearings.

Is your schedule impossible for ANY human? Slow down. Re-evaluate what is REALLY important.

Feeling “out of control” or resentful? Definite signs of stress. So relax, go for a walk. Get back in control.

The key is to notice the problem and correct it before it becomes King Kong and takes over your life.

People get stressed because they can’t “do it all.” But the fact is, if your mind is clear & peaceful, and your stress level is minimal, you will be way more effective, both in your MLM business and in your personal life. Plus, you will have more fun. So if you want a happier life, LOWER your tolerance for stress. Strange, but true.

MLM Strategy - Everything Happens For a Reason

By Michael Dlouhy

As you probably heard from your parents a long time ago, life isn’t fair. Which is true. We’ve all heard it.

But not everyone accepts it. And I think they’d be much happier if they did, in both their personal and business life. You can even develop a very effective MLM strategy around the unfairness of life.

When things don’t go their way, a lot of people spend their time complaining about life, feeling sorry for themselves. A lot of others commiserate with them, telling them that “lift isn’t fair” … as if they’ve been singled out to be cheated.

And the result? Both parties have their attention totally diverted from anything that could possibly raise their spirits and make them happy. You become what you think about. And the more you focus on the unfairness of life, the more unfair it all gets.

Why does it always get worse? Because you are no longer actively focusing on achieving and making your life better. Pity - whether for ourselves or for others - is a deflating emotion. It makes everyone feel worse.

So rather than feeling sorry for someone who has been treated unfairly by life, feel compassion instead. Show them kindness. It’s much more valuable to them for you to encourage them do do the best they possibly can with what they have.

Everybody has their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses. We all have the challenge of playing our hand to the best of our ability. Bad things happen in life. So what? That doesn’t change our duty to ourselves and to our loved ones to do the absolute best we can with what we have.

A good strategy is to adopt the notion that “everything happens for a reason.” No matter how awful an event is in your life, think about it in terms of “what lesson am I supposed to get from this? What is life teaching me?” When you believe that everything happens for a reason, you will never waste time & energy feeling sorry for yourself or for others.

There will be times in life and in business that you struggle, times you feel victimized, or that you have been treated unfairly. Believe me, every single instance of life’s unfairness to you had a reason behind it. It’s a very effective MLM strategy to examine the situation. You’ll find the reason pretty easily, so you can then get back on track and into action, stronger, wiser, and better-prepared than before.
